Summer Theatre Workshop

Ellen Kelly, Director
South Shore Conservatory’s Summer Theatre Workshop program provides young people of all ages a creative outlet to explore the various components of theatre arts. Whether they choose a one-, two- or three-week performing arts experience, students gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the art of “doing drama.”
Students, placed in age-appropriate workshops, actively participate in a wide range of activities designed to meet the age and interests of the individual child. Master teachers in each specialty area coach students in all components of Summer Theatre Workshop.
Special guest artists join workshop teachers throughout the three-week experience, and share their expertise with budding actors, singers, dancers, writers, designers and stagehands.
Each group concludes their one-week session with a musical theatre review showcasing their individual group experiences.
