Electronic Effects for Guitarists

Guitarists have a myriad of choices when it comes to effects, so before you head off to the music store, get some hands on time with the tone shaping tools used by the guitar greats! Learn how effects change the sound of your guitar and how you can use them to discover your own tone in this 12-week course.

Rock Guitar Styles
Mark Campbell
Every influential guitarist has an approach that makes them sound unique. Learn to identify the elements of style that make players like Hendrix, Page and VanHalen stand out. This class is for intermediate to advanced level students who have a working knowledge of open position and barre chord forms as well as pentatonic and blues scales. 12 weeks

The advent of synthesizers has made it possible for a few keyboardists to sound like a string orchestra, a four- piece rock band, or a percussion ensemble! In this class you’ll use your keyboarding skills, and our synthesizers in our new group instruction lab, to play a part in a band!
