Millennium Requiem CD cover

The Millennium Requiem premiered at South Shore Conservatory on October 31, 1998. The Premiere Committee included Mary C. Stohn, Barbara Clifford, Barbara Leahey, Mim McCaig, Nona Aigler, Lyell Franke and Allen Bornheimer. A recording of the premiere was the first recording to be produced by the Conservatory in the Grafton Recording Studio at the Ellison Center. Composer Larence H. Smith donated all proceeds from the premiere concert and CD sales to South Shore Conservatory. The Conservatory presented the program again on Nov. 13, 1999, as part of the Town of Duxbury’s millennium celebration. Millennium Requiem premiere concert CD’s and signed scores will be offered for sale at the concert.
