Andrew Garland Receives Praise in Recent NY Festival of Song Performance

Congratulations to voice intructor Andrew Garland who was recently reviewed in the New York Times. Andrew was praised as having sung " with commanding intensity in three epic songs by Gabriela Lena Frank, settings of Spanish poems by Pablo Antonio Cuadra" in a performance at Merkin Hall in NYC. Stelios Michas Performs With Greek Tenor Mario Frangoulis

Stelios Michas will be playing at the U.S. Tour of the internationally-acclaimed Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis this spring. The concerts are dedicated to Greek poems set to music by Oscar winning composer Manos Hadjidakis among others. Best wishes Stelios.

Vartan Aghababian Earns Doctorate

Congratulations to Musicianship/Composition Instructor Vartan Aghababian who was recently featured in Armenian Weekly for having received his doctor of musical arts (DMA) in music composition from Boston University. In November his parents held a reception to honor his achievement. Vartan received his master's in composition at the Longy School of Music.
