Asako Yoshida
Asako Yoshida, Suzuki and traditional flute, pennywhistle received her bachelor of music degree in flute performance at Kunitachi College in Tokyo, Japan and her master of music in flute performance from the University of Michigan School of Music. She received her Suzuki flute training at the Colorado Suzuki Institute in Snowmass, CO.
Asako has played as a principal flutist at Los Alamos Symphony, Choral Society and Los Alamos Light Opera for nearly a decade, and was a founding member of Flutes and Friends, and Charisma Players. She teaches at the Georgetown Public Schools, SSC, Suzuki Institute of Boston and the Wellesley Public Schools. She is a member of the Willow Flute Ensemble, a professional multiple flute ensemble based in the Boston area.
