Clifton Williams

Clifton Williams, rock guitar, received a BA in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara’s College of Creative Studies, and an Advanced Certificate in Scoring for Motion Picture and Television (MA equivalent) from the University of Southern California (USC). He joined South Shore Conservatory in 2011.
He is the singer/songwriter/lead guitarist for the touring rock band, Blue James Band, which has released two critically acclaimed full-length albums in the past few years. The band performs through the US and UK, and opened for artists such as Victor Wooten, Rusted Root, Tim Reynolds, Eric Lindell, The Brew, Steel Pulse, Hot Buttered Rum, Elvin Bishop. In addition, Clifton currently writes and plays guitar for several television shows airing weekly (Jail, Las Vegas Jailhouse, Street Patrol) and was the guitar player and ghost writer for the feature length film Who’s Your Caddy (2007). Clifton’s passion for music translates into his teaching style, which is fun, creative, and energetic. Williams lives in Scituate, MA with his wife and baby girl.
