Megan Riccio
Megan Riccio, horn, received Bachelor of Music degrees in 2006, Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Music Education and Horn Performance, where she was a Chancellor’s Talent Scholar and a Friends of Music Scholar. Ms. Riccio has performed in a variety of ensembles including the Texas Music Festival Orchestra in 2004, where she was awarded a fellowship. She currently performs with the Massachusetts Wind Orchestra and in a brass quintet based in the Boston area.
Ms. Riccio currently teaches in the Duxbury Public Schools as a middle and high music educator. She teaches a variety of courses including band, orchestra, chorus and general music. She has taught horn privately in various locations across Massachusetts including Amherst, Duxbury and Foxboro and Holden. Ms. Riccio started teaching at South Shore Conservatory in 2007.
