Connie Hagen
Connie Hagen has taught Suzuki and traditional violin for South Shore Conservatory since 1998. In addition to formerly serving as Suzuki Department co-coordinator, Connie has taught in a number of Conservatory programs such as Summer String Festival and Summer Chamber Music Festival. Her Suzuki string students have been invited to perform at Plimouth Plantation's Festival of Trees and Hingham's Christmas in the Square. Many of her past and present students play with the Conservatory's Bay Youth Symphony.
Connie received her MFA from Tulane and her MM from Texas Tech. She received her Suzuki training from a variety of schools including Tulane-Newcomb Suzuki Violin School, American Suzuki Institute, Ithaca Suzuki Institute and Texas Tech Suzuki String Academy. She has performed with a number of orchestras and string quartets including Lubbock Symphony, Evanston Symphony, and Quartet Esplanade and Bien String Quartet in New Orleans.
