Faculty Biography

Assunta "Su" D'Ambrosio

Director of Programs and Curriculum, Assunta "Su" D'Ambrosio holds an MM from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, a BA in Music from Smith College, and Orff certification from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. At South Shore Conservatory she is the preschool and kindergarten classroom music specialist, as well as teacher for Drum and Sing! and private recorder lessons. She taught general and instrumental music in public schools for 17 years, most recently as an instrumental music specialist for Norwell Public Schools. Before taking the position as Director of Programs and Curriculum, Su also taught preschool and kindergarten music at Kids Port Learning Center in Plymouth, where she lives with her husband, Bob, and her two daughters, Maria and Rosa.
